Pink Amethyst is not actually Amethyst, but rather a pink variety of quartz. Unlike Rose Quartz, Pink Amethyst forms inside open rock cavities and geodes — its pink hue being caused by microscopic inclusions of hematite.

Pink Amethyst resonates with the Heart chakra, relieving stress, grief, and emotional blockages. It's believed to encourage self-confidence, empathy and calm one's mind.
