Septarian is a unique stone that forms in sedimentary rock and is primarily composed of the minerals calcite, aragonite, and siderite. Septarian forms through a geological process called concretion in which mineral-rich fluids fill spaces between sedimentary particles. Metaphysically, Septarian stimulates the root chakra and promotes a strong sense of grounding and a heightened connection with the ancient energy of the Earth. Septarian is believed to facilitate connections with ones ancestors and even past lives.
