Bloodstone, also known as Heliotrope, is a green variety of chalcedony quartz with a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. This stone is called Bloodstone because its red/orange spots caused by iron oxide minerals resemble drops of blood.

Bloodstone connects to the Root and Heart chakras, and is believed to serve as an activator of inner strength, willpower and self-confidence. Bloodstone clears negative energies and aids in releasing old emotional trauma, encouraging patience and calm.

Stone(s) received may slightly differ in size/shape/color than those photographed.
