Titanium Quartz is a unique crystal that is created through a process known as vapor deposition. It is a form of Quartz  that has been bonded with a fine layer of titanium or other metals, resulting in a beautiful iridescent metallic sheen.

During the vapor deposition process, the crystal is placed in a vacuum chamber along with vaporized titanium or other metals. The vaporized metal molecules adhere to the surface of the mineral, forming a permanent bond and creating a thin layer of metal coating.
