Quartz is a silicon dioxide mineral with a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. Quartz is one of the most abundant minerals with deposits found on every continent. Clear Quartz is considered as one of the most powerful crystals with its versatile properties and its ability to be programmed by a specific intention and its power to amplify energies. Clear Quartz can be used for almost any metaphysical purpose including healing, consciousness expansion, chakra opening, inter- dimensional travel, dreaming, and just about anything else imaginable. Because Clear Quartz is such a strong amplifier of energies it is common for it to collect psychic debris, this makes it necessary for one to cleanse and recharge quartz crystals regularly.
